The key ingredient in our Hangar Rough Paste is carnauba wax, originating form the carnauba palm that only grows in Northeastern Brazil. It is made from the collected leaves of the carnauba palm by drying, then beating them to loosen the wax. Sometimes referred to as the Queen of Waxes, it is the hardest of all known natural waxes and when mixed with our other ingredients gives texture and hold and a matte finish that is especially good for straight hair, fine hair and short cuts.

Nicer to handle than some hair products, like a cream and not too sticky. You have to work it quickly and it sets very dry, but then I forgot I had it in my hair at all. Good texture for my straight hair.
